Education for a sustainable future
El Árbol Azomali is a new concept in sustainability and design. A community geared towards families in and around Playa del Carmen, El Árbol Azomali's campus offers wide-open spaces that support sustainable living and a symbiotic relationship between our students and the local flora and fauna.
An outdoor river system collects rainwater that is used to run toilets and water plants, and electricity is transformed from solar energy gathered by panels located on the main roof. The roof also accommodates 30 planter beds that can be used to provide fresh produce for the onsite café.
